As the name denotes, art glass is glass that are made for decorative or artistic purposes. It involves highly specialized techniques of inserting inlays of a choice of fabrics with different motifs, textures or colours or simply very thin aluminium foils for the ultra-modern look. This allows for a play of either opaque or translucency of glass.
Art glass has more recently become a popular feature of state-of-the art lifestyle homes or décor offices.
